July’s awesome The Business of Web Design conference has only just faded into the background* and we’ve got something else for you already…

(*View some of the fantastic feedback tweets from July’s event in Cardiff)

We’ve teamed up with the fantastic Silicon Beach festival in Bournemouth to put on a half day, mini event on Monday the 1st of September.

(Note: I’ll update this page as details flesh out).

Tickets are from £49 (+VAT) and available via EventBrite

What is it about?

If you don’t know about The Business of Web Design, then we are a blog (this site), a conference, and a podcast, all about the business side of web design; i.e. all of those things to running your own show which are NOT to do with responsive web design/CSS/Sass etc; things like how to price your work, how to win new work, how to deal with clients, how to evolve your business. We are aimed at freelancers/micro-agency owners but what we talk about is relevant to anyone in the creative field.

In July we had a cracking conference in Cardiff (see the tweets!), indeed, read this blog post by one of the attendees.

The format of the Bournemouth (half) Day

Timings and the lineup are not fully confirmed yet but we’ll be starting from around 12:00 on the 1st of Sept in Bournemouth, will have 6 speakers and a panel Q&A at the end (the discussion panel was a big hit in July).

So far, confirmed speakers are:

Talk titles will be firmed up but you can be assured this will all be about their businesses & their experiences. And, if July was anything to go by, there’ll be lot’s of handy take away ideas for you to implement immediately.

What are you waiting for?
